What makes BDÉT so special?

What makes BDÉT so special?
The anal area is mainly made up of skin and is a very sensitive area that requires a dedicated cleaning regimen because it is exposed to faeces which have an odour. If the anal area is not well taken care of, an infection can result which may require consulting a doctor. That is why more and more people are choosing to use wet and baby wipes instead of just dry toilet paper alone. As you age too, the skin around your bum and anus gets very thin and extremely sensitive.

About BDÉT Foam Wash

A good skin product should enhance the health of your skin. BDÉT foam wash is 98.9 natural ingredients. BDÉT Foam Wash Products are made from natural ingredients that are not only receptive to the skin but also eco-friendly. The foam wash has also been Dermatologicalmly Tested on sensitive skin so it’s good for all ages and skin types. The ingredients in the product leaves a person feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

The following are the ingredients used in the manufacture of BDÉT Foam Wash: Water, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Parum, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Limonene, and Linalool. All the ingredients are discussed below.

Water - 100% clean green New Zealand H2O.

Lauryl Glucoside

It is a plant-based cleanser used in the manufacture of BDÉT Foam Wash. Lauryl Glucoside is produced from a combination of corn glucose and palm and coconut oils. It doesn’t strip the skin of its natural oils because of its mild properties but cleanses it.

Sodium Coco-Sulfate (SCS)

Sulfates are what thickens and make cleaning products to lather. Surfactants are oil and water-soluble which cause water and oil to be removed from the body. They function by attracting both water and oil and in the process allow removal of dirt from the skin. However, they can be so powerful and by trying to wash the skin, strip it of its natural oils. The result is the skin being left feeling dry, itchy or irritated.

Parum

Parum is a Latin name meaning lack of reactivity. It refers to paraffin wax. Paraffin wax has both therapeutic and cosmetic benefits. It makes the skin soft and supple, adding moisture while at the same time boosting the skin’s moisture level. It also removes dead skins cells and opens pores. Further, it acts as a heat therapy helping to relax muscles and increase blood flow.

Benzyl Alcohol

It is quite essential to keep skin care products from bacteria. Benzyl Alcohol is found naturally in Peru Balsam. It is an approved preservative that also works like an anti-parasite drug. It also makes many formulations with natural ingredients active.

Citric Acid

Citric acid is derived from limes, lemons, grapefruits or oranges. It is used in adjusting the PH of skin care products. It works by exfoliating the skin and helping it get rid of dead skin and reduced pores. Citric acid also enhances the performance of other ingredients. BDÉT is PH 5.5-5.7

Dehydroacetic Acid

Dehydroacetic Acid is not classified as toxic. It prevents a product from decaying by inhibiting the growth of microorganisms like fungicides and bactericide.

Limonene

It is extracted from the rind of citrus fruits and used as a scent. Only when exposed to the sunlight and air is when it can cause skin irritation. But in BDÉT it is in minute portions.

Linalool

Linalool is found in many essential oils and in over 200 species of plants. It is used as a fragrance in BDÉT Form Wash.

BDÉT Form Wash has Sodium Coco-Sulfate (SCS) but does not contain SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) which is a foaming agent present in most personal care products.

In comparison with SLS, SCS is manufactured using whole Coconut oil while SLS is made using isolated Lauric acid. SCS is quite complex and does not penetrate the skin causing less irritation, SLS, on the other hand, is quite simple and easily penetrates the outer layer of the skin leading to irritation.

BDÉT is Free from Many Common Toxins

BDÉT Foam Wash is toxin-free and paraben free too. Parabens are preservatives used in hair care, drugs, food, toothpaste, and body care products. Although parabens function to prevent bacteria formation, they get absorbed through the skin and eventually they can build up and be harmful.

Triclosan on the other hand also prevents bacterial contamination, but its overuse can be harmful. It is commonly used as an anti-bacterial ingredient and found in many wet and baby wipe products worldwide.

If SLS and triclosan are overused, they can cause contact dermatitis. We do not use any of these ingredients in our products.

Conclusion

The effects of using unhealthy skin care products may never be felt immediately because in most cases it is a gradual process. Because the skin absorbs at least 21% of products applied to them, if the products are toxic, then the body is absorbing toxins in the body daily. Therefore, BDÉT‘s mostly natural and toxic-free formula is safe on all skin types from babies to the elderly. We want to be mindful about the products we make so that we protect our customers and our planet.
